Reception Admissions
All applications for our Reception need to be done through Hertfordshire County Council.
If your child was born between 1 September 2020 and 31 August 2021, they are due to start primary school in September 2025.
1st November 2024 – Online system opens for you to apply
15th January 2025 - Deadline to apply for a Reception place
3rd March 2025 - Applications received after this date will not be offered a school place until week commencing 16th June 2025
16th April 2025 - National allocation day
16th April 2025 - Continuing interest application opens
2nd May 2025 - Last date for accepting the Reception place offered
12th May - 16th May 2025 - First continuing interest run
20th May 2025 - Last date to register an appeal
19th May - 26th May 2024 - Continuing interest application open for the second run
16th June - 20th June 2024 - Second continuing interest run
24th July 2025 - Continuing interest list closes for primary schools
24th July 2025 - You will now need to do an in year application for a reception place in September.

You are welcome to come and visit our school and Reception class on the following days:
7th November 2024 - 9.15am 27th November 2024 - 2.00pm
13th November 2024 - 9.15am 4th December 2024 - 2.00pm
21st November 2024 - 2.00pm 13th December 2024 - 9.15am

Hertfordshire School Admissions
The local authority is responsible for the admissions and appeals at Maple Grove Primary School. The school is responsible for Nursery admissions only. Please note that admission into our Nursery does not guarantee a place in our Reception.
