At Maple Grove, children can be admitted to the nursery the term after they turn three. We currently have places in our nursery, so please fill out the application form here.

Applying for a Nursery place for September 2025
Maple Grove offers a one-form (30 places) nursery.
Nursery doors open at 8:40 a.m., and every child receives 15 hours of provision per week from 8:50 to 11:50 a.m., with the option of additional hours from 11.50 to 3:15 p.m.
Additional hours can be accessed through the 30-hour free childcare scheme. Please see www.chidcarechoices.gov.uk to find out if you are eligible. This is from 8.50 am until 3.15 pm on Mondays to Thursdays and up to 1.10 pm on Fridays when all 30 hours have been claimed. Additional sessions are charged as follows:
Fridays - 1.10 pm to 3.15 pm - £12
Mondays to Fridays - 11.50 am to 1.00 pm - £6 per day
Mondays to Fridays - 11.50 am to 3.15 pm - £18 per day
Nursery Tours for September 2025
You are welcome to come and visit our school and Nursery class on the following days:
7th November 2024 - 9.15am 27th November 2024 - 2.00pm
13th November 2024 - 9.15am 4th December 2024 - 2.00pm
21st November 2024 - 2.00pm 13th December 2024 - 9.15am

Application process
The nursery admissions application process 2025 begins on Monday, February 3rd, 2025, for children born between September 1st, 2021, and August 31st, 2022.

All applications must be received by the school by noon on Friday, 14th March 2025, to be considered an on-time application.
Please note: Admission to our Nursery does not guarantee a place in our Reception. All Reception applications must go through Hertfordshire County Council.
There may be times when more families apply to join our nursery than there are places. In these cases, unsuccessful applicants will be added to the continuing interest list (waiting list).
Applications received after the deadline will be considered late applications per our Nursery Admissions Policy; this can be found in the link below.
Parents will be emailed on Tuesday, March 18th, 2025, to find out if they have been allocated a place in our nursery.
All places must be accepted by Tuesday, 1st April 2025, by 9.00 am.
